Das Konzert im eWerk Freiburg bot mir die Gelegenheit, Rebekka Bakken nicht nur als herausragende Musikerin, sondern auch als vertraute Künstlerin zu porträtieren. Unsere freundschaftliche Beziehung ermöglichte mir eine empathische, mutige Herangehensweise. Totale setzte ich nur sparsam ein und richtete den Schwerpunkt auf Nähe und persönliche Stimmung. So entstand eine Bildserie, die kraftvoll, direkt und nah die Intensität des Abends einfängt und zugleich ihre charakteristische Präsenz sowie die emotionale Tiefe ihrer Musik sichtbar macht.
Rebekka Bakken fasziniert mit einer Stimme von seltener Ausdruckskraft, die zarteste Nuancen ebenso trägt wie eruptive Leidenschaft. The concert at eWerk Freiburg gave me the opportunity to portray Rebekka Bakken not only as an outstanding musician but also as a trusted artist. Our friendship allowed for an empathetic and courageous approach. I used wide shots only sparingly, focusing instead on intimacy and personal atmosphere. The result is a series of images that capture the evening with immediacy, strength, and closeness, while reflecting her distinctive stage presence and the emotional depth of her music.
